We them
My eyes are kissed by stars,
With the light of millions of years
Brought to life here this place
On a wave of billions of tears,
Carried through the centuries,
Of hope, sweat and fears
My eyes are filled with crimson skies
As in time past blessed human eyes
The glowing orange silken moon
Seen from icy waste to desert dune
Ancient gazers saw and knew
And lived there under in attune
My heart has burst in burning song
As those long gone and yet to come
Suspended in this life of time
As are all to live, theirs too called mine
Rippling echoes of all lives past
Held in the mould, the present cast
My breath has run to drink wind in
Different lyric and tune, plays to sing
To taste the bitter sweet as every tong
Yet sings the same as human sung
And thought its body every self
Lost the truth, every self as one
My soul takes flight in spirit born
On wings of light as constant dawn
Self is the gift...unique in fashion
And to every other self
Selflessness gives to self
True compassion
