Poetic Wings
Lilting soaring skylark June,
Using word to paint a tune
Spreading wings and taking flight.
Through rainbow clouds of sweet delight
Glide through valley, hill and dales,
Of scarlet poppy shaded trails
Words stream forth with ease,
And scatter soft like falling leaves
Cascade from tong with lilting throng
Colourful noise split by silent poise
Word carried gentle on the breeze,
To settle on the ear with ease
Subtle fluttered prose gives raise,
To shout out loud to azure skies
To fly aloft and glory ring,
Of thought in flight now word to sing
Splashed in colour taste and scent,
Declaring all as heaven sent
Words are things and thought is motion,
Life the raft, on Beings Ocean
Lilting soaring skylark June,
Using word to paint a tune
Spreading wings and taking flight.
Through rainbow clouds of sweet delight
I see star spangled melodies
In garlands of celestial splendour
I am the composer, the receiver,
And the sender.....
